This has been a common mind boggler among many women, but the answer may still seem confusing all the more. Men and their many signs. More often, you cannot really decipher whether a guy’s actions show that he wants to be more than just a friend or if he is only treating you just like the rest of his girl friends. But really, are there no-brainers that tell you he is interested? Or is he really just one of the boys?

Eye contact. Another obvious sign that he is interested is when he keeps on staring at you. A guy can keep looking at you until you notice that he does to let you know that he is interested, or he can stare at you when you are not aware.

Extra/special attention. Any guy can pick on his girl pals, but if he picks on you twice as often and as much compared to his other girl friends then he may be into you. Guys usually show their interest in a girl if he shows extra or special attention to her. They may have different ways of showing it. Some guys can be extra sweet while others can be very annoying. But either way, they may be trying to get their point across that they are into you. Moreover, if a guy keeps asking a lot about you – your interests, likes, favorites and other information about you, then it is a sign that he is interested.

Convo conundrum. If a guy is interested in you, he may find it difficult to talk to you as freely as he does with his girl pals. More often, a guy tends to say the silliest things just to have something to say or keep the conversation going. He can also become a little queasy whenever he speaks to you. Also, if he frequently goes out of his way just to say hi or make small talk with you, then it’s a sign that he has the hots for you.

Behavior signs. Certain behaviors in a guy can indicate that he does not look at you as just a friend. These may include fidgeting, nervousness, stuttering. Check his body language as well? Does he tend to constantly lean toward you, do crazy stuff or try to impress you whenever you are around?

Touchy-feely.  A good sign that a guy likes you is when he appears to be touch-feely like holding your hand, putting his arm around you other gestures that show that he wants yo be physically close to you.

Friend alert. Usually, a guy’s friends will subtly tease him whenever you are around and clue you in that he is interested in you. They may even try to find out if you are into him as well. Know how they react when you are around. If they smile, look at him knowingly or do other things that suggest they know something you still do not, then it may be that their buddy is really into you.

If a guy really likes you, he will really show it. However, keep in mind that these signs do not exactly guarantee that guy is really interested in you. Some guys can be naturally outgoing, flirty and friendly, so you would want to avoid being misinterpreted at all. Also, try not to be too paranoid or overconfident thinking that these signs are but already signs that he sees you more than just a friend. It may be that the guy is still only getting to know you better or worse, using you or is only trying to get with you. However these signs can give you clues, these could still mean anything.

So don’t be too hard pressed trying to read between the lines just yet. Just relax and go with the ride – things will fall into place eventually.
