The most read on topic in articles atleast. So, what am i going to write about love that is different from all those articles you've read about love? I am going to write about my personal experiences coupled with mistakes that i had done and what i could have done better in my relationships. Think of this article as a guideline of love not a story, coz you will hardly find my story in it.
Love is a beautiful feeling that a person feels for another person (usually of the opposite sex but at times same sex too). This feeling is often confused with another which is known as 'infatuation'. Now this term doesn't have any existence other than what is made up by people who have failed in converting chances of a relationship into a real one. So, how does this 'love' happen?? Well, to be honest it can happen anywhere anytime, provided you are old enough to understand it. If two teenagers tell you they are in love then that usually means its just attraction, but if two adults confirm that they are in love then that is the starting stage of a relationship.
One thing i have experienced in my love life or have seen in others around me, flattery doesn't always work. It's true that there are some special ladies out there who would really love to hear all sorts of praises about them, but more often than not these same ladies and others are usually aware of what they are and what they look like. So, my suggestion here is not to over do it but at the same time if you dont appreciate your partner the relationship soon dries up, which is why most relationships break. In United States, most of the couples who are so excited about the 'BIG DAY' as they call it, often end their marraige or relationship in a few months or days in some cases. This usually happens in situations where the partners had not understood eachother completely. One basic thing in love is not to find faults in eachother, because if you do that nobody in this world is flawless, and moreover you will also find that if you looked into your own self first chances are you would think that you don't deserve your partner. Regardless of all the criteria that makes you think you don't deserve the other person or the other person doesn't deserve you, the love that you both share is special and is much higher than these petty squabbles. There are times where you g
uys have disagreements, fights and arguments, but think of them not as obstacles but as hurdles. Because obstacles are a dead end but hurdles are something you can jump over or work around. Always have a positive attitude towards your partner, and have realistic expectations. I have seen relationships crumble because they had unrealistic expectations from eachother.
In today's society and lifestyle, it is the thinking of a large percentage of people that both the partners in a relationship or marraige should work together for the economic progress of the family. However, this is in contrast to our old religious belief that the man is the bread winner and the woman is the home maker. In my opinion the latter is the most suitable lifestyle a couple in a relationship should follow, but in most cases it doesn't happen. This is because of the immaturity in people these days. Love is no doubt beautiful, but at the same time love doesn't pay your bills neither does it run the house, money does. It is important for every individual to consider his own financial status before he commits into a beautiful lifelong relationship. There are people who have been in love for 7-8 years and yet are not married, reasons are many, but the main reason in my experience is the finance. In olden days when our religions were getting drafted there was no place of a relationship between a man and woman except for blood relations and marraige. Based on this the guideline or the rule of 'man - the breadwinner and woman - the home maker' was initiated. However, in the 21st century this is not the case. But I feel and believe this concept is ideal and can be followed today too. If you are in love with a lady then you have to make sure before you marry her you are in a good or atleast adequate financial condition to do so. Moreover, another advantage of this method is it keeps away one of the most dreaded diseases in a married life 'suspicion'. A man can go to work with peace of mind that when he returns home after a long day of work his wife will be waiting for him lovingly. This also gives the woman the freedom to do what she likes at home or elsewhere, with the relief that her husband will take care of the financial part all she has to do in life is to make his day better and make his life beautiful, which is the main reason people get married in the first place.
Marraige is not a deadlock but is a beautiful and wonderful commitment to give another person a reason to live, a person and a family to love and finally, Be complete.
