Love
Love. What is love exactly? Is it something that you must search for, or is it something that you just randomly come across one day? Has anyone ever told you they were in love with someone, but just from their body language, you could tell that they were terribly wrong? Even I have been mistaken. Love comes in strange forms. The person you think you may never even talk to, let alone-be friends with, could end up becoming the person you marry.
That leads to my next question: what do you look for when searching for a possible mate? Everyone must admit, we all look for looks. Someone must be at least somewhat attractive for us to even let the thought cross our mind that we may date them. You can't, as far as I know, (correct me, please if I'm wrong) fall in love with someone that you find completely repulsive. I know it sounds mean, but there has to be some kind of physcial connection and attraction in that way as well.
Humor. I think, if someone is funny, that just completely boosts their attractiveness. If I find someone somewhat attractive and they can make me laugh, they definite
ly have a fighting chance!
Good listener. I want someone who can listen to me and wants to know more about my past, my plans and goals in life. I want to tell them everything about myself and I hope they will do the same to me. I feel very close with someone the more we know about eachother. I don't like secrets. Telling the embarrassing things is scary, but I'd rather they find out from me than someone else!
Fun. I want them to like the things I like, and not require too much. I don't want to be with someone who always has to be doing something or they're bored. I want someone who is fine with just sitting at home with me, watching t.v. and isn't afraid to have great conversations.
I thought I was in love with my last boyfriend, but I was sadly wrong. I've found, when you find love, you'll know it. If you have to question it at all, then it's not love. I think sometimes people confuse love with friendship. My last boyfriend and I would have done a lot better if we would have just stayed friends. Love gets things complicated if you're with the wrong person.
Learn about yourself, and it will make it easier for you to understand other people.
