How To Break Up: Simple Rules

Ending what was thought to be a beautiful thing at the start is not a really nice thing to do.  Some even despise break ups, while others look at it as a welcoming change of something unhealthy.  But regardless of the reasons behind calling a relationship quits, breaking up is never an easy thing to do.  And so men, here are simple rules on how to break up with your girlfriends.

For most women, there is still worse to being dumped.  It is when you ask them to do the dumping thing against their will.  Unless of course you have one good reason, then do your dirty work and do not let her do it for you.  Break ups are never pretty.  The cowardice in men would beguile dreaded break ups by portraying the role of a bastard so his woman would dump him instead.  Most men create an unbearable environment for their girlfriends so in the end, the women will finally give in and put an end to the relationship.  Instances include guys not returning phone calls or disappearing into thin air.  Worst scenario always involves a third party.  An affair with another woman is reason enough for girlfriends to break up with their boyfriends.  Some men do have real affairs while others just pretend to have one in order to be dumped.

Face-To-Face

Another break up rule is to do it personally, face to face with your girl.  Bear in mind that a proxy break up is only for wimps.  You want to break up with her and yet, the thought of telling her straight in her face petrifies you.  And so, you take comfort from your cellphone and send her an SMS message instead telling her you cannot stand seeing her again.  You should realize that only cowards go for such strategy.  The coward you are, the angry she will be, for sure.  S

he deserves something better you know, some explanation maybe.

Can We Still Be Friends?

Moreover, with break ups, perhaps the most irritating thing to follow is to ask your ex-girlfriend if you are still friends.  Do not forget that you ditched her for whatever reason, maybe it even involves with a new girl or simply because she does not appeal to you anymore.  So never expect that she still welcomes you with open arms, even as friends.  Although some girls or women are more mature about  break ups that remaining friends with their ex-boyfriends who dumped them is not an issue.  In conclusion, if you are hoping to be in speaking terms with her somehow or someday, just try to avoid asking her if you can still be friends or if you are still friends.  This simple question may only piss her off.  Let her be for a while.  Respect whatever reactions she will have.  After all, you started it.  You do want to break up with her, don\'t you?

Why Your Should?

In the long run, if you really want to make friends with her, you may pop the question after the break up drama has long settled.  This may take after some time, weeks, months or even years.  The duration varies from each individuals and ex-couples, depending on the ex-girlfriend\'s feelings and how scorned she feels.

Again, be mindful that break ups are awful.  Deciding to end whatever you have with your girl, you must be prepared to face its consequences.  Be ready to be called as the “bad guy.”  Lastly, be gentle, as well as, be clear and be firm.  Do your job of ending it and never ever give her false hopes.

By adhering to these simple rules of breaking up, you may just save yourself from being a wimp.  And though pain is associated with every break up, doing it right still makes a difference.

standing up for the right thing to do, however painful, is the best gift a man can give to himself. I agree that breaking up is never fun but being truthful is so liberating in the long run.

Good insights. Ending up a relationship is somewhat regretful in a sense that you have spent long time together, been through ups and downs but just ending it in separate ways. But I'm sure there is a valid reason behind every break ups.

Maybe one of the reasons is we humans don't have satisfaction in whatever we have we still tend to want more, same goes in having a relationship we are discontented to just only one partner.

I'm just wondering since it looks like you are expert in ending a relationship so easily, how many girlfriends did you have?
