Why Does AOL Suck?
I think aol sucks because I had very very VERY few success to finding a date on it. AOL started out as something like Prodigy Internet (which you don't hear much of no more but if you were to google it, you'd probably see what they were about). However AOL, in my opinion, became very popular for its chat client…anyone who has AOL may only have it because of its chat features….where you can go into a chat room to find conversation being taken place with live participants.
I was only new to the internet back in 1998 when we first got a computer at our home and hooked up aol, back then was the 3.0 version.
Through the 10 year span, I probably only met up to at least between 10 and 15 opposite sex members in person. My dating success was a failure trying to hook up with someone through aol chat for the most part because it never lead anywhere except maybe a few "flings".
Man I'll tell you write now I'll never go to aol EVER AGAIN. Now that I have found this successful site, obviously a dating site, where within 4 days, I have about 48 opposite sex members emailing me for their interest in me. Sure some of them may be robots (seeing that they are very sexy women) however on average I can tell right off the bat that quite a few of them are REAL PEOPLE interested in me.
Going back to the topic of why aol sucks…..this is basically because of my frustration I've dealt with in the chat room
s where I'd spark a conversation and would, burn to a black crisp at the end….I'd try to talk to them and then you really get no responses back which would really set me at a boiling point and frustrated even more making me think…. "Man Taher what are you not saying right that they are not replying". Of course I would have to be rational it could be possible that their computer froze or that it may have broke but never had any success and gave up on aol….but stupid me, I should have just been smart enough and say to myself "Gee Taher, you do know they have dating sites too if you are looking for that kind of thing." Don't know why it didn't come to me until 10 years later. The final person I met from there would be in June of 2009. since then I lost touch with her but with this dating site, emerges a new hope and possibilities. Like a 2nd chance being given to me to try dating again with real live people and very young beautiful ones too. Again I acknowledge the fact that these "too good to be true" beauties messaging me because of their interest in me might fairly be "bots". Its ok though because for about 30 bucks a month its fairly worth it for me. I will never look back to AOL again EVER!! AOL in my book is a closed chapter……and I think we should keep it that way…
