Words Unspoken

So many things I wanted to say,

Everything else I let stand in the way.

Words of love and happiness,

All the things I'm going to miss.

I know it didn't seem like I was even there,

I know it doesn't seem like I even care.

Touches I missed tears that were lost,

Everything else came first no matter the cost.

All that is left is regret and pain,

I have nothing left nothing to gain.

I wish you the best in your new life you found,

I hope she's always there always around.

You deserve the best I couldn't give,

Without you here I go on and live.

Thoughts of you often cross my mind,

Words for you were so hard to find.

I wish I had told you exactly how I felt,

When you were around me my heart would just melt.

You were so loving so warm and kind,

Your love for me I was so blind.

Now I'm alone unhappy and sad,

I never knew what exactly I had.

Never again will I make that mistake,

If it takes forever then forever I wait.

I know that there are people in this world that can relate to this poem.

Some people in this world take for granted what they do have never relizing that everything can be gone in a blink of an eye.

Take note of what you have, be thankful for what you have because it can be gone before you know it.

Remember some people in this world are not as lucky as alot of us are.

Never knowing what it's like to have anything.

Never knowing what it's really like to love someone or be loved by some one.

Some will never know what it's really like to be happy.
